2017 Family Expenses

It seems common for financial bloggers to submit their incomes and living expenses for the world at large to see. I thought I would give it a go, with some concerns, as hopefully the wider world can give my family and I some ideas to reduce our expenses further and achieve financial independence much sooner than we currently can. OK, so here goes, our predicted expenses for 2017 are:

For 1 month we expect to pay

Mortgage $1714
Property Taxes $350
HOA Fees $262
Water, trash on average $80
Gas, electric on average $60
House Insurance $70

Food for 3: $600

Gas for me $125
Gas for the wife $100
Car Insurance for both of us $120
Average Car maintenance expenses $30

Subscriptions
cable $58
Netflix $12
Amazon $9
Audible $15
AAA $7
Webhosting, etc $67
Cell phones for two of us $16

Liability Insurance $17.50
Loan Fee $100
Wife’s credit card payment $100

A grand total of $3912.50
Or for 1 year $46956.00

It may sound a lot but if you remove the mortgage expense it gets me around the living costs of Mr. Money mustache, as it would now be $26388 a year. Any thoughts on how to reduce these expenses further will be greatly appreciated!!
