Free Credit Report # 4 (But Not Credit Score)

Free stuff is great, and now you can get your credit report for free from the 3 major bureaus, Equifax, Experian and Transunion,  through a government sponsored program at annualcreditreport.com.

Remember that this is not your credit score, where credit karma, credit sesame and discover cards will each give you free scores from one of the bureaus. However, it remains useful for checking for errors in your credit history, so as to improve and maintain your score to the maximum. The benefit of doing this is in keeping your expenses down on things that take your score into consideration, such as mortgages and insurance.
